Mini production line
of the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle

with the ASTORINO robot

Functionality
of the station:

Take a closer look at how a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle is made – in an educational version!
Two Astorino robots work together, adding successive elements to the motorcycle model taken from the conveyor belt. The entire setup is surrounded by industrial peripherals: a compressor, grippers, sensors, and a conveyor belt – just like in a real factory!

Participants can initiate the production cycle themselves to see what the assembly process looks like from the inside. It’s not just great fun – it’s also a great opportunity to learn about industrial robotics!

Main components of the station:

  • check
    Astorino robots
Two six‑axis robots that precisely add selected parts to the Kawasaki Ninja model. Their construction makes them ideal for learning the basics of industrial robotics.
  • check
    Conveyor belt
Transports parts to the station, mirroring real material flow in a production facility.
  • check
    Pneumatic and vacuum grippers
Ensure precise and safe handling of motorcycle parts. The use of two types of grippers demonstrates the adaptive capabilities of the ASTORINO robot.
  • check
    Rotary pneumatic actuator
Simulates the use of a positioner in an industrial application.
  • check
    Compressor
Provides the necessary air pressure to operate the grippers and other pneumatic devices on the station.
  • check
    Optical sensors
Ensure safety and precision by monitoring the position and availability of parts.

Why is it worth seeing the Mini Production Line?

The mini production line station is more than just an impressive demo. It is a live, educational staging of an industrial process that:

  • ✅ Shows the actual motorcycle assembly process – visitors can track step by step how Astorino robots add subsequent Kawasaki Ninja components taken from the conveyor belt.
  • ✅ Enables interaction – everyone can personally initiate the production cycle and see how automation works in practice.
  • ✅ Educates through experience – the station is equipped with real industrial components: grippers, sensors, a compressor, and a belt conveyor. Participants learn not only about robotics but also about modern production lines.
  • ✅ Inspires and sparks imagination – it shows that technical education doesn’t have to be boring. This dynamic, attention‑grabbing demo encourages learning through fun.
